Multiplus : Notice to the Market - Multiplus Itaucard Mastercard Black now offers points that won‘t expire

This initiative is the result of a partnership between Itaú Unibanco and Multiplus to offer clients a credit card with the best accrual of points per dollar spent

Barueri, May 25, 2017 - Itaú Unibanco and Multiplus hereby announce a new feature for the Multiplus Itaucard Mastercard Black: from June 1, points accumulated on this card will no longer expire for those clients that keep using the card. This initiative is part of an innovative strategy by the companies to constantly make improvements to their product, through a regular platform of new promotions and benefits.

Launched in January of this year, this card is the result of a partnership between Itaú and Multiplus to provide a card in the Brazilian market with the best accrual of points per dollar spent.

In addition to the new benefit of offering points that won't expire, holders of the card also have access to Itaucard's platform of benefits, which offers a 50% discount at cinemas, theatre and shows; a 30% discount on the purchase of Multiplus points; discounts at partnership establishments; as well as providing access to a platform of exclusive benefits and promotions at Multiplus throughout the year.

It is important to stress that only the points accumulated on the card from purchases made as of June 1st are open-ended. If the client does not accumulate points on this card for more than 12 months, the standard validity period of 24 months will then again apply, counted from the end of these 12 months. The points accumulated before the launching of this benefit will also maintain their validity period of 36 months.
