MOL Group announced that the Board of Directors appointed Dr. Berislav Gaso as MOL Group Upstream Executive Vice President. With this appointment, Dr. Gaso also became a member of the MOL Group Executive Board. Dr. Gaso joined MOL Group in January 2010 when he became Executive Director for Corporate Services and member of the Executive Board at INA. From September 2012 he was appointed to Senior Vice President of Controlling, Accounting and Tax at MOL Group. Since April 2015, Dr. Gaso has been acting as COO of MOL Group Upstream. Before joining MOL Group he was an Associate Principal at McKinsey&Company for five years.

Consequently, in line with MOL Group 2030 strategy, a new organization named Consumer Services is to be set up. The new unit will be responsible for turning MOL Group into the customers first choice and the primary source of future demand solutions by leveraging market expertise, size and knowledge of 10 million customers, 1 million daily transactions and 10 purchases per second. MOL Group aspires to provide the best and most desirable services to people on the move. The activity of the Consumer Services organization will be the growth engine of the MOL Group 2030 Enter Tomorrow Strategy.

This is reflected in the decision of the Board of Directors to appoint a Board member, Dr. Oszkar Vilagi to lead this organization. Dr. Vilagi gained extensive experience in several senior level positions in financial and commercial areas before he became the CEO of Slovnaft in 2006. Since April 2009 he also acts as Chairman of the company. In 2010 Dr. Vilagi became a member of the Executive Board, and one year later he was appointed to Board of Directors of MOL Group. In his new position, his first priority is to work out a detailed organizational model by November 30, 2016.
