The Croatian government is not seeking to sell its stake in INA-Industrija Nafte, d.d. to a third partner. Slavko Linic, Finance Minister of Croatia, said that he did not think that a sale of the stake would be considered in any case. Moscow Times reported on January 28, 2013 citing some Croatian media that Open Joint Stock Company Gazprom might be interested in a stake in INA if the government were to sell its shares in the company.

Croatia could not be satisfied with MOL Magyar Olaj es Gazipari Nyilvanosan Mukodo Reszvenytarsasag (MOL)'s policy in INA because there were no investments in oil and gas research or the renovation of refineries, he added. MOL owns 49.1% stake in INA and the Croatian government controls a 44.8% stake.
