The Board of Miwon Specialty Chemical Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A107590) announced the spin-off of Energy Hardened Resin Business segment on December 12, 2016. Miwon Specialty Chemical Co will remain and continue to operate investment business segment. The spin-off will follow the ratio of 0.2650000 for the surviving company and 0.7350000 for the business being spun-off. The surviving company will operate under the name Miwon Holdings Co., Ltd. The spun-off entity will be named as Miwon Specialty Chemical Co., Ltd. The Board of Miwon Specialty Chemical passed a resolution for the transaction on December 12, 2016. The record date of the transaction is May 1, 2017. The shareholders are scheduled to meet on March 28, 2017.
