Hannover, 01.10.2014. The Supervisory Board of Hoeft & Wessel AG has appointed Paul Lebold and Dr. Günter Kuhlmann as members of the Board of Management, effective from 1 October 2014. Mr. Lebold will head the new management division Finance. By appointing Dr. Kuhlmann, who was formerly the company's director of R&D, and who will head this division in future in his capacity as a member of the Board of Management, the technology company has created its own R&D management division.

"Our goal was to have all divisions that are key to the reorientation and growth strategy of the group of companies directly entrenched in the Board of Management. In Paul Lebold and Dr. Günter Kuhlmann, we have acquired outstanding experts for the heretofore lacking finance and R&D management divisions," explains Dirk Ulrich Hindrichs, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Hoeft & Wessel. Already in July this year, Thomas Dibbern was named Chief Sales Officer. "Thus the management team with CEO Rudi Spiller is now ideally equipped to meet the challenges still facing the company in terms of consolidation and to lead the company on its growth path," Mr. Hindrichs added. Apart from the company's head office in Hannover, Germany, the Hoeft & Wessel Board of Management oversees the operations of its subsidiary Metric with locations in the UK and USA.

Mr. Lebold, 53, was formerly chief operating officer of Göbber GmbH, which is located in Eystrup, Germany, where he has held various managerial positions since 2005. Mr. Lebold, who has a degree in business management and holds dual US and German citizenship, has held managerial positions at various large and medium sized enterprises.

Dr. Kuhlmann, 52, is an aerospace engineer and has been head of the Hoeft & Wessel R&D division as early as September 2013. Prior to this, he held the position of Product Group Technology Manager at ABB in Göttingen, Germany. Before joining ABB, Dr. Kuhlmann worked as an R&D manager at various large and medium sized enterprises.
