Hannover/ Germany, 30/06/2014. The Board of Management of Hoeft & Wessel AG is to be extended. From July 2014, Thomas Dibbern (44) will be reinforcing the Board of Management and will be responsible in particular for global sales. He was most recently engaged in an executive function in international sales operations of a medium-sized company with business activities similar to those of the Hoeft & Wessel Group. After studying economics and political science in Berlin and a number of temporary employments abroad, Thomas Dibbern began his career in the IT industry and assumed responsibility for the internationalisation of a medium-sized producer of corporate software.

The Hannover-based Hoeft & Wessel Group, which is part of the Droege Group, is making preparations for sustainable growth. The technology enterprise is a leading solution and service partner in the field of systems for recording, validating and processing data. Products of this well-known manufacturer include ticket and car park terminals as well as mobile terminals. The company automates processes in the trade & logistics, railway & cargo as well as the parking & public transport sectors, thus ensuring efficiency enhancements in transporting passengers, merchandise, and services. Its customers include European railways, retail chains and public transport corporations operating with a global reach such as FirstGroup.

"Appointing Thomas Dibbern as a member of the Board of Management will mean a reinforcement in terms of management and customer orientation. As a result, the Board of Management headed by CEO Rudolf Spiller will also take shape against the background of the growth target," explains Dirk Ulrich Hindrichs, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Hoeft & Wessel AG.
