(Alliance News) - Maire Tecnimont on Tuesday reported that NextChem has been awarded new contracts worth a total of about EUR30 million from

by major international clients, mainly in the Middle East and Europe.

Specifically, NextChem's subsidiary Stamicarbon, the group's licensor for nitrogen fertilizer technologies, was awarded a contract by a major fertilizer producer in the Middle East to design and supply a high-pressure condenser pool equipped with the latest state-of-the-art technology and design.

In addition, Conser, NextChem's subsidiary and licensor of the biodegradable plastics technology group, was awarded a feasibility study based on NX Conser's proprietary Conser Duetto technology in the Middle East.
