Mad Catz Continues to Expand Asian Market Presence

SAN DIEGO, Jan 18, 2012 (BUSINESS WIRE) --Mad Catz Interactive, Inc. ("Mad Catz") (AMEX/TSX: MCZ) announced today that it has entered into a PlayStation(R) Accessory Licensing Agreement with SCEJ (Sony Computer Entertainment Japan), a division of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc.

The agreement permits Mad Catz to manufacture and distribute products designed for use with the PlayStation(R)3 computer entertainment system and the PlayStation(R)Vita portable entertainment system throughout Japan.

The first licensed products released throughout Japan as part of the agreement was a selection of licensed PlayStation(R)Vita accessories, now shipping throughout the region.
