Macquarie Telecom Group Limited announced earnings results for the first half of 2016. For the half year, the company reported revenue was $100.1 million, an increase of 5% on first half 2015 is $95.1 million. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of $15.6 million, an increase of 32% on first half 2015 is $11.8 million. Net profit after tax of $2.0 million, up from net loss after tax $2.5 million in first half 2015. Total EBITDA includes profit on sale of $0.3 million. EBITDA increased by 21% to $9.3 million compared to $7.7 million a year ago. Underlying EBITDA (excluding the profit on sale of Intellicentre) increased by 46% to $6.0 million compared to $4.1 million a year ago. Operating cash flows of $12.3 million compared to $9.0 million a year ago. EBIT was $2.7 million compared to LBIT of $3.0 million a year ago. NPBT was $2.9 million compared to NLBT of $3.8 million a year ago.

For the full year 2016, the company reflecting the company's continued strong performance, full year EBITDA is now upgraded to be between $31 million to $33 million. Depreciation is expected to be $24 million to $26 million and business as usual capex $14 million to $17 million in line with previous issued guidance.
