Another Quality Stamp on the Cover of HBA Magazine

The confirmation of Hospital Beatriz Ângelo (HBA) as an international example of good practice came with a new accreditation from Joint Commission International (JCI), concerning the quality and safety in healthcare provided at HBA.

The reportage on the moment of obtainment of another international quality stamp by JCI, after months of preparation involving hundreds of hospital professionals, makes the cover of the new edition of HBA magazine, soon to be launched.

The quality of healthcare provided at HBA is also distinguished concerning surgical differentiation. The Hospital has been investing in this differentiation, its professionals being prepared to give an integral and integrative response in the specific areas of colorectal, esophagus and hepatobiliary pancreatic surgery, orthopaedics, otorhinolaryngology and vascular surgery. The new edition of HBA magazine focuses also on that.

The 18th edition of the magazine also distinguishes the Department of Psychiatry and Mental Health of HBA, in what concerns one of the most prevalent mental pathologies in the world, depression, and the way this is approached in its multiple aspects by this service's professionals.

What is the ERAS project, how to treat vertigo, teachings on breastfeeding, among others, are themes approached in this new edition, «Informação Luz Saúde Beatriz Ângelo».

HBA magazine has a circulation of a hundred thousand copies and is freely distributed in all four regions covered by the Hospital. It is also available in every waiting room at HBA.
