Lucky Minerals Inc. announced that it has appointed Francis Akpata as a member of its board of directors and Robert Rosner, a director of the company, as Chief Financial Officer of the company. The appointments of Mr. Akpata and Mr. Rosner were made in conjunction with the resignations of Bruce Thorndycraft as a director of the company and Jared Scharf as Chief Financial Officer. Both Mr. Thorndycraft and Mr. Scharf resigned for personal reasons.

Mr. Akpata currently serves as Managing Partner at Majlis Investment Partners and has more than 15 years of experience in international marketing and business development during which time he has systematically built up a network of clients/investors in the GCC countries (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates) the U.S. and Europe (Italy, Monaco, the UK, Switzerland and Scandinavia). Francis was previously the Head of Investor Relations at Acropolis Capital, a family office that invests in hedge funds and private equity. Prior to that he was at Mellon Global Investments (now Bank of New York Mellon) in London.

Francis holds a BA degree from King's College London in Philosophy and Theology. Mr. Rosner has over 30 years of experience creating, financing and building companies, from initial concept to market buildout. His public company experience includes the mining and oil and gas resource sectors, intellectual property management, and software development, as well as high tech and commercial goods.

He has held appointments as officer and/or director of numerous public companies, serving in reporting compliance, oversight and fiduciary capacities, as well as directing corporate activities.
