Liberty Property Trust : Signs New Tenant at Liberty Ridge in Durham

Charlotte, NC - January 4, 2017 - Liberty Property Trust has signed a lease with Elite Flooring and Design for 42,000 square feet of space at 1953 T.W. Alexander Drive, one of the company's three new industrial developments at Liberty Ridge in Durham.

'The strategic placement of Liberty Ridge continues to drive strong interest from tenants seeking space in the Research Triangle Park submarket,' said Bryan Blythe, vice president of leasing and development for Liberty's Carolinas region. 'Elite Flooring has been a valued Liberty tenant for many years, and we are pleased to be able to accommodate their growth with a larger footprint at our new project.'

The building at 1953 T.W. Alexander Drive offers a 126,000 square feet of LEEDÒcertified space. Approximately 84,000 square feet remains available for lease. In addition, 29,160 square feet of space is available at the recently completed building at 1951 T.W Alexander Drive.

Liberty Ridge is a 36-acre industrial park on TW Alexander Drive between Page Road and Miami Boulevard. When complete, the park will feature 457,500 square feet of state-of-the-art industrial facilities that can accommodate distribution, light assembly and manufacturing uses.

Elite Flooring joins Implus Footcare and Cargo-Link at the park. Liberty also completed a 136,500 square foot build-to-suit development for Implus Footcare at the end of last year.

Bryan Blythe managed the Elite Flooring lease transaction for Liberty Property Trust.
