Kuo Toong International Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 1,152.854 million compared to TWD 927.972 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 146.505 million compared to TWD 90.267 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 120.508 million compared to TWD 42.361 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.49 compared to TWD 0.17 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 2,192.438 million compared to TWD 1,441.845 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 292.936 million compared to TWD 128.858 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 224.321 million compared to TWD 63.657 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.9 compared to TWD 0.26 a year ago.
KUO TOONG INTERNATIONAL CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the engineering contracting business. The Company provides engineering contracting services for water transmission pipelines, waste treatment pipelines and others, as well as the manufacture and sale of prestressed concrete cylinder pipes (PCCPs), reinforced concrete pipes (RCPs), prestressed concrete non-cylinder pipes (PSCPs), jacking pipes (JCPs), ductile iron pipes (DIPs), welded steel pipes (WSPs), stainless steel pipes and steel pipe joints, among others. It also involves in sea water desalination business. The Company principally operates its business in domestic market.
