Kopy Goldfields AB (publ) announced the new drill results, confirming 160 meters extension of the Krasny mineralization, and 620 meters extension of the Vostochny mineralization to the west along the strike. The new drill results leave both mineralization’s open along the strike and provide evidences of an important extension of the gold mineralization’s to the west, increasing the gold resource upside potential. During November and December 2017, exploration activities on the Krasny project have been focused on resource increase by step off drilling along the strike on both the Krasny and the Vostochny mineralizations. At the Krasny site, drill holes were recently completed at the western strike continuation in Profiles 8, 12, 16, 19, 22, 28, 34, 36 and 38. The holes in Profiles 16-38 were drilled to clarify the position of the Lower Mineralization, which was initially mapped in 2012. According to the assay tests received for hole #141867 (Profile 16), #141871 (Profile 19), #141869 (Profile 22), #141765 (Profile 28), #141766 (Profile 34) and #141886 (Profile 38), a solid gold mineralization was intersected, showing parameters like grade, thickness and depth that may be commercial. However, to understand if the mineralization is minable at the current market conditions, resource modelling and an economic analysis will be run in first quarter of 2018.
