Kim Heng Limited announced the Cessation of Ho Boon Chuan Wilson as Lead Independent Director, Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee, Member of the Nominating Committee and Remuneration Committee due to Retirement of Mr. Ho Boon Chuan Wilson ("Mr. Ho") as Lead Independent Director of the Company following the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting held on 26 April 2023. After having interviewed Mr. Ho, and to the best of its knowledge, the Company's Sponsor, SAC Capital Private Limited, is satisfied that, other than as disclosed in this announcement, there are no other material reasons for the cessation of Mr. Ho as a director of the Company. Kim Heng Ltd is a Singapore-based investment holding company. The Company operates through two segments: Offshore rig services and supply chain management, and Vessel sales and newbuild. Offshore Rig Services and Supply Chain Management segment includes chartering, freight, servicing and repair of vessels, provision of services of marine engineers, consultants, sub-contractors, labor supply, fabrication services, trading in drill pipes and related drilling materials, provision of services and rental of marine equipment and cranes. The Vessel Sales and Newbuild segment includes trading of vessels and newbuild. The Company offers offshore renewable solutions, marine and port agency, marine and offshore project logistics, offshore rig services, procurement and logistics management, shipbuilding and repair, marine salvage and oil-spill response, and heavy equipment sale and rental. The Companyâs subsidiary is Kim Heng Offshore & Marine Pte Ltd (KHOM).
