MILWAUKEE, Wis., Jan. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- In a new supply agreement, Johnson Controls, Inc., (NYSE: JCI) announced today it will provide automotive batteries to O'Reilly Auto Parts, servicing more than 1,000 Checker Auto Parts, Kragen Auto Parts, and Schuck's Auto Supply stores across the country.

This supply agreement includes Johnson Controls' Optima(R) high performance automotive batteries, which are being shipped to the stores this month. Johnson Controls will also supply O'Reilly's full line of automotive Super Start batteries beginning in February.

O'Reilly, which acquired CSK Auto Corporation in 2008, is one of the country's largest specialty retailers of automotive aftermarket parts. The company operates more than 3,200 stores in 38 states.
