ITOCHU ENEX Announces the Formulation of Group Sustainability Policy and Identification of Important Issues
ITOCHU ENEX CO.,LTD. (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Kenji Okada, Representative Director, President and CEO) announced today that it has formulated the Group's Sustainability Policy and identified important issues, aiming to realize a sustainable society and improve our corporate value.
1. Purpose
In recent years, climate change and other global environment issues have deepened. Aiming to solve a range of social
issues, initiatives for achieving the UN's SDGs and the Paris Agreement, a framework for addressing global warming, have been accelerating globally.
Under our management philosophy "The Best Partner for Life and Society - with Energy, with the Car, with the Home -," our Group has worked to realize a sustainable society. To further enhance and implement our initiatives that contribute to sustainability on a group-wide basis and for the medium and long term, we have formulated Sustainability Policy and identified sustainability issues (Materiality), which our Group should address on a priority basis.

Based on the Sustainability Policy, we have identified sustainability issues (Materiality). Through the activities for
addressing those issues, we will contribute to development of a sustainable society and work for further improvement of our corporate value. In addition, for our activities related to the important issues, the Sustainability Committee will manage their progresses.
