IQGeo : names Dr David Cottingham as new Chief Technology Officer

Cambridge, 01 August 2023 - IQGeo (AIM: IQG), a developer of geospatial software that is "Building better networks" for telecom and utility operators, today announced that David Cottingham has joined the company as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
With many years of experience in the technology industry, David comes to IQGeo with extensive software and hardware expertise including over a decade at Citrix where he held senior management, partner engagement, and technical roles for SaaS, ecosystems, and virtualization solutions. His past responsibilities have included leading large, multidisciplinary engineering teams distributed around the world, driving product vision and strategy, and owning relationships with tier 1 software and hardware vendors. David also holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge where his research focused on optimizing wireless communications.
Based in Cambridge, David will work with the engineering and product management teams to evolve IQGeo's technology strategy to support the company's strong growth trajectory. David brings extensive cloud, SaaS, and business scale-up knowledge to IQGeo, having most recently guided a technology company through ambitious global growth stages by ensuring systems, processes, and culture are in place for long-term success.
