Earlier today the Huffington Post released an article by InterQuest CEO Mark Braund titled: 'Weird and Wonderful Headlines Highlight the Diversity of a Consumer-Driven Sector'.

The piece was the third in a series of columns that Mark has been writing for the Huffington Post which focus on business and technology related topics.

In the article Mark discusses recent news and developments within the technology arena, observing the impact that consumer behaviour and buying trends have on them. In the column Mark comments specifically on the increase in Ecommerce and Mcommerce that has been widely discussed in 2013, commenting:

'It could be said that the greatest influence the consumer has had on technology lately would be the move towards E-commerce and M-commerce from an array of brands; the notable shift towards online shopping from the high street. This is a development that is still happening constantly and that has shifted its dynamic in a multitude of different ways during the course of 2013 alone.'
