CELAYA, Mexico (AP) _ Industrias Bachoco SAB de CV (IBA) on Monday reported second-quarter net income of $74 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Celaya, Mexico-based company said it had profit of $1.48.

The poultry producer posted revenue of $1.05 billion in the period.

Industrias Bachoco shares have risen roughly 1% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $45.48, an increase of 26% in the last 12 months.
