Loss from ordinary activities before tax was INR 5,513.9 million compared with INR 12,713.6 million for the same period a year ago. Net loss was INR 5,544.4 million or INR 2.26 per basic and diluted share before and after extraordinary items compared with INR 14,250.6 million or INR 8.67 per basic and diluted share before and after extraordinary items for the same period a year ago. For the nine months, the company reported net sales of INR 174,295.5 million compared with INR 198,878.3 million for the same period a year ago. Operating profit before provisions & contingencies was INR 26,092.3 million compared with INR 21,711.8 million for the same period a year ago. Loss from ordinary activities before tax was INR 26,321.7 million compared with INR 17,762.1 million for the same period a year ago. Net loss was INR 27,700.7 million or INR 13.39 per basic and diluted share before and after extraordinary items compared with INR 19,611.3 million or INR 14.30 per basic and diluted share before and after extraordinary items for the same period a year ago.
