Paolo Fietta resigns as General Manager Corporate and Chief Financial

Officer and Financial Reporting Manager of Il Sole 24 ORE S.p.A.

Milan, 11 November 2022 - Il Sole 24 ORE S.p.A. announces that, on today's date, Paolo Fietta, General Manager Corporate and Chief Financial Officer and Financial Reporting Manager pursuant to Article 154-bis of Legislative Decree no. 58 of 24 February 1998, has resigned to undertake a new professional venture, effective as of next 13 November.

Il Sole 24 ORE S.p.A. expresses its sincerest thanks to Mr. Fietta for his work and commitment in the performance of his duties and positions held within the 24 ORE Group since October 2018, which have contributed to strengthening the Company's credibility, rationalizing costs, and to relaunching and developing corporate business strategies.

Il Sole 24 ORE S.p.A. will promptly select a high-profile replacement and give notice within the time limits of law.

Notice is additionally given that there are no plans to grant Mr. Fietta any allowances or other benefits other than those envisaged in the applicable national collective bargaining agreement, and those provided under the retention agreement concluded with the Executive, consistent with the Company's Remuneration Policy.

Based on the notices made to the Company, Mr. Fietta does not appear to hold, to date, whether directly and/or indirectly, any ordinary and/or special category shares of the Company. Mr. Fietta is not a recipient of share-based incentive plans.
