Friday, January 11, 2013 IC Takes Over Centre Management of "City Center" Eisenhuettenstadt

Unterschleißheim near Munich, 11 January 2013 - The IC Immobilien Gruppe has taken over management of the "City Center" shopping centre in Eisenhuettenstadt. According to the asset and property manager, which has its headquarters in Unterschleissheim near Munich, the previous main tenant Metro has relinquished the centre management along with the termina-tion of the general lease. The property management and asset management as a whole will remain as before in the hands of the IC Group. The contracts with IC runs until 31 December 2018. Built in 1993, with a rentable space of approx. 32,000 square metres, occu-pying a plot of approx. 97,000 square metres with approx. 1,500 parking spaces, the "City Center" is the largest shopping centre in the Oder region of Brandenburg. The centre is almost fully let and has been held by the closed-end real es-tate fund "BBV 10" since its opening nearly 20 years ago. In addition to major sales magnets such as C&A, Real SB-Warenhaus (supermarket chain), Praktiker-Baumarkt (DIY store), Rossmann (drugstore) and Hammer (home textiles), the tenant mix comprises a total of around 50 national and regional retail stores.
