NEWS RELEASE AIN SOKHNA INTEGRATED WATER AND POWER PLANT (IWPP) CHANGED FROM EPC TO BOT/BOO STRUCTURE

Singapore, 9 January 2017 - Hyflux Ltd (Hyflux or The Group) wishes to announce that following the announcement made in April 2016, the General Authority for Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) has requested Hyflux to develop the Ain Sokhna IWPP under BOT/BOO structure instead of the initial EPC contract awarded to Hyflux. Hyflux has identified partners to develop this project and will continue to discuss the investment terms with SCZone. More details will be announced when available. This is not expected to have a material financial impact on Hyflux for the financial year ending 31 December 2017.
