The Government intends to strengthen national support to municipalities and regions in mapping conditions and preparing and enabling the use of innovative investment models, such as social impact bonds. The proposal means that SEK 10 million will be allocated per year during 2024-2026.

The Government writes in a press release that the purpose of the initiative is to support the work for more actors to meet and together tackle various societal challenges with new innovative methods. Humana has for some time published social outcome measures in the Individual and Family business area and for Norway and is working to develop its first social impact bond.

The challenges facing the municipal sector will not only be solved by more employees and more resources. The Government's initiative confirms that future care requires new innovative methods and that Humana is on the right track in the work of measuring and following up the outcomes of our care. says Johanna Rastad, President and CEO of Humana.
