Huadian Fuxin Energy Corporation Limited Announces Nomination of Executive Director, Non-Executive Director and Appointment of Board Secretary

The board of directors of Huadian Fuxin Energy Corporation Limited announced that Mr. SHU Fuping nominated as the candidate for the position of executive director of the Second Session of the Board of the company, and his appointment is subject to the approval by the shareholders at the general meeting of the company. The term of office of Mr. SHU will commence on the date when the approval of the shareholders at the general meeting is obtained and will end on the expiration of the term of the current session of the Board of the company. The board of the company announced that Mr. YANG Qingting nominated as the candidate for the position of non-executive director of the Second Session of the Board of the Company, and his appointment is subject to the approvals by the shareholders at the general meeting of the company.

The term of office of Mr. YANG will commence on the date when the approval of the shareholders at the general meeting is obtained and will end on the expiration of the term of the current session of the Board of the Company. A circular which includes, among other things, the information in relation to the proposed appointment of Mr. YANG and a notice of the general meeting will be despatched to the shareholders as soon as practicable. The Board has resolved to appoint Mr. RONG Qing as the board secretary to the second session of the Board, with effect from 3 February 2016.

His term of office shall be the same with the term of the current session of the Board. Mr. RONG Qing, graduated from Shandong University of Technology with a master degree in engineering, majoring in power system and automation. He is also a senior engineer.

Since July 2013, he has been serving as the director of the securities market department of the company. Previously, he served as a project manager of the planning division of the planning and development department and the deputy division head of the fund raising division of Shandong Power Industry Bureau; the manager of the planning and development department and the deputy head of the planning and development division of Shandong International Power Development Company Limited.
