Trading Update

Power Generation For July 2019

This announcement is made by CGN New Energy Holdings Co., Ltd. (the "Company") on a voluntary basis.

The board (the "Board") of directors (the "Directors") of the Company announces that, according to the preliminary statistics of the Company, the power generation of the Company and its subsidiaries (the "Group") on a consolidated basis amounted to 1,171.6 GWh for the month of July 2019, representing an increase of 4.2% compared with the corresponding period of 2018. In particular, power generation of PRC wind projects remained at the same level as of the corresponding period of 2018, power generation of PRC solar projects increased by 58.8%, power generation of PRC coal- fired, cogen and gas-fired projects increased by 0.9%, power generation of PRC hydro projects increased by 10.7% and power generation of Korea gas-fired projects increased by 1.3%. For the seven months ended 31 July 2019, the accumulated power generation of the Group amounted to 7,760.5 GWh, representing a decrease of 1.1% compared with the corresponding period of 2018. In particular, power generation of PRC wind projects increased by 11.3%, power generation of PRC solar projects increased by 106.6%, power generation of PRC coal-fired, cogen and gas-fired projects decreased by 2.1%, power generation of PRC hydro projects increased by 29.4% and power generation of Korea gas-fired projects decreased by 14.0%.
