HomeStreet Inc. announced that it has appointed Mark R. Ruh to lead corporate development and strategic investment functions for the company. In his new role, Ruh will be responsible for expanding the company's ongoing M&A strategy and its strategic investment initiatives for both new and existing lines of business. Ruh has extensive experience in banking, specialty finance, transaction and private equity investing. Ruh has earlier served as the CFO of Mission Community Bancorp & Bank in San Luis Obispo, California, as vice president at Castle Creek Capital Llc in Rancho Santa Fe, California, and as president and COO of White River Capital Inc. in Indianapolis, Indiana. Ruh currently serves on the board of directors of Mountain Commerce Bancorp & Bank in Knoxville, Tennessee, and on the board of directors of the not-for-profit San Diego Blood Bank.
