Hi Sharp Electronics Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2019. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 207.473 million compared to TWD 173.588 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 4.119 million compared to operating loss of TWD 2.637 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 2.360 million compared to TWD 2.656 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.06 compared to TWD 0.06 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 407.916 million compared to TWD 382.060 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 13.651 million compared to TWD 1.925 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 10.107 million compared to TWD 7.528 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.24 compared to TWD 0.18 a year ago.
