Hertz Rent A Car and Nectar Renew Exclusive Partnership to Reward Customer Loyalty in the UK

Hertz, the world's leading general use car rental brand, has announced the renewal of its partnership with Nectar, the UK's leading loyalty programme. The new deal will mean that Hertz customers will benefit from the exclusive arrangement; allowing them to gain points on their rentals to spend across a range of Nectar partners including restaurants, retailers and travel. The announcement reconfirms Hertz's status as the only car hire company to reward customers with Nectar points for their rentals .

Michel Taride, President, Hertz International and Executive Vice President, Hertz Corporation, said: "Hertz and Nectar both share a commitment of rewarding loyalty and we are pleased to be announcing the renewal of this successful partnership. We have been working with Nectar since 2003 and the relationship has proved very successful and popular with customers.

To celebrate the partnership renewal Hertz and Nectar will be rewarding customers with six points for every £1 spent until 31st March 2011. From then, Hertz customers will be rewarded with two Nectar points for every £1 spent. The process of collecting points couldn't be simpler; when booking online or over the phone renters just quote their Nectar membership number to collect points.
