Healthcare Services Group, Inc. announced Andy Kush, Executive Vice President & Chief Administrative Officer has been promoted to the role of Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. Mr. Kush’s responsibilities will continue to include oversight of the Company’s field-based operations, ensuring the Company best optimizes its talent, expertise and leadership across its customer service delivery-related functions. Prior to his appointment as Chief Administrative Officer, Mr. Kush served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources & Risk Management. Mr. Kush also serves as President of HCSG Insurance Corp.
Healthcare Services Group, Inc. provides management, administrative and operating services to the housekeeping, laundry, linen, facility maintenance and dietary service departments of healthcare facilities, including nursing homes, retirement complexes, rehabilitation centers and hospitals located throughout the United States. The Company's segments include housekeeping, laundry, linen and other services (Housekeeping), and dietary department services (Dietary). Housekeeping segment manages its customers housekeeping departments, which are responsible for the cleaning, disinfecting and sanitizing of resident rooms and common areas of the customers facilities, as well as the laundering and processing of the bed linens and other assorted linen items. Dietary segment manages its customers dietary departments, which are responsible for food purchasing, meal preparation and professional dietitian services that include the development of menus that meet the dietary needs of residents.
