Guardian Capital Group Limited (TSX:GCG.A) agreed to acquire Galibier Capital Management Ltd. on June 20, 2024. Subject to customary closing conditions, including obtaining regulatory approvals, the transaction is expected to close in summer 2024. Following closing, Galibier will continue to be led by its current management and investment team.
Borden Ladner Gervais LLP acted as legal advisor to Guardian and Gardiner Roberts LLP acted as legal advisor to Galibier.
