China Polymetallic Mining Limited provided earnings guidance for the six month ended June 30, 2014. For the period, the company expects that the Group's revenue and profit attributable to the owners of the company will decline significantly as compared with that for the corresponding period in 2013. Such decline has arisen because of the company has experienced much lower feed grade and raw ore output from the Shizishan Mine due to the extremely fragmented ore body; two earthquakes which were 5.6-magnitude and 6.1- magnitude occurred in Yingjiang County, Yunnan Province on 24 May 2014 and 30 May 2014 respectively.

Those earthquakes and their aftershocks caused damages on underground tunnel, increased difficulty of safety operation, and impacted mining work.
