GET(3519TT) reported October 2016 sales and 3Q2016 operating result

Green Energy Technology (3519TT) announced its consolidated net sales for October of 2016:

Along with ASP rising in October, GET keeps screening orders and serves mainly long term partners and emerging market customers.

GET sales for October of 2016 were NT$ 941 million, increased by 31% MoM and decreased by 30% comparing with the same period of 2015.

GET (3519TT) announces also the Company's operating result for 3Q 2016 (please refer to the tables below):

In the 3rd quarter of 2016, GET net sales reached NT$ 2.5 billion, gross margin rate -31%, operating loss NT$ -1,035 million, net loss NT$ -947 million, and EPS NT$ -2.18.

In the first nine months of 2016, GET achieved net sales of NT$ 12.6 billion, gross margin rate 1%, operating loss NT$ -481 million, with net loss of NT$ -413 million, and EPS of NT$ -0.85.

As wafer ASP slipped critically in 3Q16, GET was not able to keep profits at the same

time. Also, based on accounting conservatism, amount of around NT$ 309 million was set aside in 3Q16 for inventory impairment losses.

GET expects ASP of high efficient wafer to increase quickly in 4Q16, and will screen orders and advance high efficient technology with low manufacturing cost to pursue for profits.
