Amberg, November 24, 2017 - Once again, Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft (DLG) presented the coveted innovation award at Agritechnica, the leading platform for showcasing new developments in agricultural machinery. Comprising independent experts from science, research, consulting and users, the DLG jury selected this year's winners from 320 innovations submitted by the exhibitors.

A total of two gold and 29 silver medals were presented for promising innovations in agricultural machinery. All four vehicles that received an Agrictechnica Award were fitted with Grammer seating systems, including the first battery-powered electric tractor.

Agritechnica highlight: the announcement of the 'machine of the year'
A further highlight at Agritechnica is the announcement of the 'machine of the year': editors from various agricultural machinery journals published by Deutscher Landwirtschaftsverlag (dlv) together with international representatives select the top agricultural machinery for 2018. Grammer seats also fared extremely well in these awards as all ten of the winning tractors, harvesters and telehandlers were fitted with innovative and ergonomic Grammer driver seats.
With this strong presence at Agritechnica, the Amberg, Germany-based specialist in interior components and premium seating systems was able to underscore its position as the global market leader in offroad seats and an innovative pioneer in suspended seating systems characterized by comfort, safety and ergonomics.
