Godrej Consumer Products Limited announced consolidated earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2016. For the quarter, the company reported that constant currency net sales were increased by 12% year-on-year. India business primary sales were flat while secondary sales increased by 2% on year-on-year basis despite demonetisation challenges. International business sales grew by 28% year-on-year, on a constant currency basis. Constant currency EBITDA increased by 17%, with 15% growth in the India business and 19% growth in the international business. Net profit and EPS, without exceptional items were increased by 5%. India net sales were INR 12,630 million, India EBITDA increased by 15% to INR 3,080 million and India net profit increased by 19% to INR 2,310 million. Net profit and EPS, without exceptional items were increased by 5%. For the nine months, the company reported sales of INR 361.0 million compared to INR 368.8 million a year ago. EBITDA was INR 69.9 million compared to INR 79.5 million a year ago. Net profit was INR 51.3 million compared to INR 59.5 million a year ago. EPS was INR 15.07 compared to INR 17.47 a year ago. For the nine months, the company reported sales of INR 653.8 million compared to INR 710.4 million a year ago. EBITDA was INR 118.0 million compared to INR 136.3 million a year ago. Net profit was INR 70.3 million compared to INR 91.4 million a year ago. EPS was INR 20.64 compared to INR 26.84 a year ago.
