GAZPROM Gazprom Neft has opened a Production Control Centre (PCC) in Muravlenko - this new PCC creating an integrated physical and digital space for optimising efficiency in realising the full potential of Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz assets.
[Link]The key task of this new business unit is the operational and systematic management of all of the business's operational activities. More than 1,900 cluster pads and 80 hydrocarbon treatment and transportation facilities, across an area of more than 47,000 kilometres, have been connected to cutting-edge analytical, forecasting and automation tools.
A new format for cross-functional collaboration among specialists from various Noyabrskneftegaz services involved in the production, treatment and transportation of hydrocarbon feedstocks is being built around the physical and informational space offered by the PCC. The digital solutions used will make possible continuous oversight and control over every process involved in hydrocarbon production, online. Cutting-edge IT tools involving the use of Industry 4.0 technologies are ensuring continuous improvements in production efficiency by exposing and predicting deviations from norm in well-stock operations, as well as managing energy resources and equipment operating regimes. Alongside this, the Centre's tasks include automating the identification of optimum geological and technological interventions, within set parameters - an approach that makes it possible to put in place intervention programmes under changing targets and external constraints quickly and flexibly, improving the plant's operational efficiency.
The 'Assets of the Future' project is an integrated organisational and digital-transformation programme for the Gazprom Neft Upstream Division's business model, at every level - from production floor to corporate headquarters. The objective of this programme is to fine-tune the division's efficiency improvement - processes in order to achieve the company's strategic goal: to become the industry benchmark in terms of operational performance by increasing labour productivity and reducing production costs.
Gazprom Neft's Muravlenko Production Control Centre (PCC) was opened in autumn 2020. Its core objective is to provide all-round engineering, technological and geological support in well construction throughout Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz' fields in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, facilitating a 15% reduction in well-construction lead-times.
