Fauquier Bankshares Inc. has announced that James Butler has been promoted to the role of senior vice president for the Landing department. Mr. Butler started his banking career in the Management Training Program at PNC Bank. Prior to joining The Fauquier Bank in 2006, he spent twenty-five years specializing in Commercial Real Estate Finance and Special Assets Management. In his current position, he works in both commercial real estate and small business lending.

The Bank has over 10 service branch offices located in the Virginia communities of Old Town-Warrenton, Catlett, The Plains, Sudley Road-Manassas, New Baltimore, Bealeton, Bristow, Haymarket, Gainesville and Centreville Road-Manassas, Virginia.
