PROJECT MANAGEMENT TEAM APPOINTED FOR MAYOKO- MOUSSONDJI
Equatorial Resources Limited ("Equatorial" or "the Company")
is pleased to announce the appointment of senior project
management personnel for the Company's 100% owned
Mayoko-Moussondji Iron Project ("Mayoko-Moussondji" or
"the
Project") in the Republic of Congo ("ROC").
Mr Rainer Dreier has been appointed as Project Manager, Mr
John Dorotich as Rail Studies Manager, Mr John Crocker as
Port Studies Manager and Professor John Clout as Mine and
Process Development Studies Manager. The project management
team have been appointed on consultancy contracts and will be
based in Perth, Australia. The team will
oversee Equatorial's on-going study and development program
for Mayoko-Moussondji.

mine where they demonstrated an outstanding record of

Equatorial's Project Management Team
Mr Rainer Dreier has been appointed as Project Manager for Mayoko-Moussondji. Mr Dreier will be responsible for the design and management of the study program for all future mine-to-port feasibility work. Mr Dreier was previously involved as a consultant engineer in the design and construction of major facilities of Fortescue Metals Group Limited's Cloudbreak plant. He was most recently involved as project manager for feasibility studies on the Razorback Iron Project of Royal Resources Limited as well as AUROX's (now Forge Resources) Balla Balla Iron Project in Australia and Ferrum Crescent's Moonlight Magnetite Project in South Africa. Mr Dreier has been working with Equatorial for the past several months completing a review of the Company's existing rail and portstudy work and designing the descriptions, specifications, planning, and budgeting of future studies.
Mr John Dorotich has been appointed as Rail Studies Manager for Mayoko-Moussondji. Most recently Mr Dorotich was Senior Technical Rail Manager for African Minerals where he oversaw all studies and the ultimate construction and operation of the railway line for the Tonkolili iron ore project. Prior to this, Mr Dorotich was Head of Rail for Fortescue Metals Group Limited where, amongst other things, he oversaw the construction of the world's heaviest haul railway line between the Cloudbreak Mine and new port facilities located at Anderson Point, Port Headland. Mr John Crocker has been appointed Port Studies Manager for Mayoko-Moussondji. Mr Crocker, a mechanical and electrical engineer, has extensive experience in fabrication, construction and plant commissioning. He has supplied engineering services to Rainer Dreier for the last 17 years, working on many mining projects includingCloudbreak, Balla Balla, Moonlight and Razorback.

Professor John Clout has been appointed as Mine & Process Development Studies Manager for Mayoko- Moussondji. Professor Clout is currently the Company's Chief Metallurgical Consultant where he is responsible for the design, scope, schedule, and budget of the Company's metallurgical test work programs for hematite and magnetite mineralisation at Mayoko-Moussondji. Professor Clout is also in charge of the metallurgical testing program for Equatorial's 100% owned Badondo Iron Project. Professor Clout was previously Head of Resource Strategy for Fortescue Metals Group Ltd where he was directly responsible for the design of the "Rocket Fines" and "Special Fines" products. More than 110 million tonnes of these iron products have now been exported to customers. As Mine & Process Development Studies Manager, Professor Clout will oversee all programs in relation to the design and technical evaluation of iron ore products, mine planning, process engineering design including flowsheet and layout, sinter and lump quality evaluation and technical marketing.For further information contact:

ABOUT EQUATORIAL RESOURCES
Equatorial Resources Limited (ASX:EQX), is focused on the
exploration and development of two 100% owned potentially
large-scale iron ore projects located in the politically
stable and investment friendly Republic of Congo ("ROC") in
the emerging global iron ore province of Central West
Africa.
The Mayoko-Moussondji Iron Project, located in the southwest
region of the ROC, has an estimated global exploration target
of between 2.3 and 3.9 billion tonnes1 of iron
mineralisation at a grade of 30% to 65% Fe. The project has
access to a rail line running directly to the deep-water port
of Pointe-Noire, where the Company's administrative office is
located.
The Badondo Iron Project, in the northwest region of ROC, has
an estimated global exploration target of between 1.3 and 2.2
billion tonnes1 of iron mineralisation at a
grade of 30% to 65% Fe. The project is located within a
regional cluster of world-class iron ore exploration projects
including Sundance Resources' Mbalam and Nabeba projects.
