The Company announces that Mr Steeve Thibeault has advised of his intention to resign as Chief Financial Officer and joint Company Secretary of Energy Resources of Australia Ltd, effective from 13 June 2014. Mr Thibeault has accepted another role within the Rio Tinto Group.

Mr Thibeault was appointed as Chief Financial Officer and joint Company Secretary of the Company in July 2009. The Board has expressed its thanks to Mr Thibeault for his valuable and dedicated service to the Company in these roles during that time. Mr Thibeault will work with the Chief Executive to ensure a smooth transition to his successor. An announcement on the appointment of his successor will be made in due course.

Mr Thomas Wilcox remains as Company Secretary.
