Making use of the capabilities provided by “smart” phones, the new application of Emporiki provides a wide range of banking services, such as transactions, product information and immediate communication with the Bank, in an easy, quick and secure way.
| The mobile banking service is exclusively available to all existing Emporiki web banking users, while the application allows any user to register through it. Transactions such as transfers to any Emporiki Bank account, credit cards and public utility bill payments are completed with a “click”. Account balances and movements are provided for all deposit, loan and card products as well as facilitating the reporting of credit card loss or theft and saving transaction receipts, are only some of the existing possibilities provided by the new service. Additionally, any user may get information and express interest on selected Emporiki Bank products and services, a feature that provides Emporiki’s application with a competitive advantage. Moreover, the service allows users to locate the Bank’s nearest branches and ATMs using GPS technology, while offering useful tools such as an IBAN calculator for any Emporiki account as well as an exchange converter from Euro to other currencies and vice versa. |
The new Emporiki Bank iPhone application is free of charge and iPhone holders who wish to access the new service may easily “download” the relevant application on their mobile through the App Store, by simply typing “Emporiki Bank”.
The new application is also compatible with the iPod Touch and the iPad.
