DragonWave Inc. announced unaudited consolidated earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended August 31, 2016. Revenue for the second quarter of fiscal year 2017 was $13.2 million, compared with $12.5 million in the first quarter of fiscal year 2017. Revenue excluding the Nokia channel grew by 30% compared to the first quarter of fiscal year 2017. Revenue from the Nokia channel decreased to 24% of total revenue, versus 38% in the first quarter of fiscal year 2017. Net loss attributable to shareholders in the second quarter of fiscal year 2017 was $3.9 million or $0.96 per basic and diluted share. This compares to a net loss attributable to shareholders of $4.1 million or $1.23 per basic and diluted share in the first quarter of fiscal year 2017. Loss before income taxes was $3.480 million against $19.083 million a year ago. For the six months, the company reported revenue of $25.775 million against $53.257 million a year ago. Loss before income taxes was $7.356 million against $24.840 million a year ago. Net loss and comprehensive loss attributable to shareholders was $8.038 million or $2.16 per basic and diluted share against $26.926 million or $8.94 per basic and diluted share a year ago.
