Dime Community Bancshares, Inc. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported net interest income was USD 80.22 million compared to USD 93.51 million a year ago. Net income was USD 27.5 million compared to USD 38.49 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.66 compared to USD 0.94 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.66 compared to USD 0.94 a year ago.
For the six months, net interest income was USD 165.97 million compared to USD 182.62 million a year ago. Net income was USD 64.8 million compared to USD 73.02 million a year ago. Through its title insurance subsidiary, the Bank acts as a broker for title insurance services. It operates 60 branch locations throughout Long Island and the New York City.
