This is withreference tocertain reports in the media relating toillegal money conversion by some

Jeweller,whereinit hasalso beenalleged that Income Taxsearches, have been conducted at Delhi basedcorporate officeof DhampurSugar Mills and allegedly some incriminatingdocuments relating to money conversion havebeen found. Thesaid reports are emphatically denied. No incriminating documents indicatingany illegalactivity, as reported inmedia have been found.

It is stated that the Income Tax Department conducteda surveyat the company's head office in NewDelhi andit is reiterated that in the saidexercise no incriminating documents have beenunearthed, asalleged inthe media reports.

We strongly deny andcondemn the said allegationsand affirm that allegat ions made are baseless, frivolousand with intent to tarnish thereputation of the company.
