Deinove Adds Two New Prestigious Members to its Board of Directors

Deinove announced that the shareholders' General Assembly meeting held on May 6, 2014, approved the appointment of two new directors. Dennis McGrew, former CEO of NatureWorks, American producer of bio plastics and Michael Carlos, President of Givaudan Fragrances. Dennis McGrew, former President and CEO of NatureWorks.

Having completed his career largely in the United States, Dennis McGrew has held numerous global roles with Dow Engineering Plastics, NatureWorks and Genomatica and lived in Europe with Dow Automotive. He has over 30 years of experience in sales, marketing, business management and business development for the chemical, plastics and green chemistry markets. Michael Carlos has over 20 years of experience in the fragrance industry, and is Chairman of the Research Institute of Fragrance Materials and Vice-Chairman of the International Fragrance Association since 2012.

He holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management and a degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology.

DEINOVE is a French biotechnology company pioneering the exploration of a new domain of life, unexplored at 99.9%: the "microbial dark matter". By revealing the metabolic potential of rare bacteria or still classified as uncultivable, it tackles a global health and economic challenge: antimicrobial resistance. The new therapies discovered and developed by DEINOVE target superbugs (microbes that have become resistant to one or more antimicrobials) that cause life-threatening infections which are now spreading at high speed.
