ANNOUNCEMENT

UPDATE IN CORPORATE INFORMATION

SINGAPORE, June 29, 2015 - CWT Limited (SGX:C14) ("CWT" or the "Group") wishes to provide an update to its corporate information.
CWT Globelink Pte Ltd ("CWT Globelink") has increased its existing shareholding in both Globelink Container Line (JB) Sdn Bhd and Globelink Container Line (M) Sdn Bhd to 100% by buying out the minority interest for a combined purchase consideration of RM 675,000 (S$241,449). The above Malaysian entities provide freight forwarding services. CWT Globelink is the wholly-owned freight logistics arm of CWT Group.
CWT Commodities Pte Ltd ("CWT Commodities") has established a new subsidiary CWT Commodities Warehousing (Pty) Ltd in South Africa with a registered capital of ZAR 100 (S$11) for the purpose of land ownership and warehouse development in Johannesburg. In terms of effective shareholding interest, CWT Commodities Warehousing (Pty) Ltd will be 70% owned by CWT Commodities and 30% owned by CWT Aquarius Shipping International (Pty) Ltd ("CWT ASI"). CWT Commodities is the wholly-owned commodity logistics arm of CWT Group and CWT ASI is the 70%-owned African arm of CWT Commodities.
Straits Financial Group Pte Ltd ("SF Group") has set up PT. Straits Futures Indonesia, a futures broking firm, in Indonesia to serve the local community and provide access to both local and global futures products as well as associated services to support their hedging and trading needs. PT. Straits Futures Indonesia, which is 100% owned by SF Group, will have an authorised capital of IDR 12 billion (S$1.21 million) and a paid-up capital of IDR 5 billion (S$0.5 million). SF Group is the 97%-owned financial services arm of CWT Group.
The above developments are not expected to have any material impact on the consolidated earnings and net tangible assets of CWT Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2015. None of the directors or controlling shareholders of CWT has any interest, direct or indirect, in the above developments.
