Cryoport, Inc. Board of Directors announced, effective as of the closing date, appointed Ram Jagannath as a director. Mr. Jagannath was designated by Blackstone to be appointed to the Board of Directors in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Securities Purchase Agreement. Mr. Jagannath is a Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Healthcare for Blackstone Growth and Tactical Opportunities, based in New York. He is a member of the Blackstone Growth Investment Committee. Since joining Blackstone in 2019, Mr. Jagannath has led Blackstone's acquisition of HealthEdge Software and its investments in Bright Health and the Company.
