Force Commodities Limited announced it has completed metallurgical drilling at Mahab 4, Maqail South and Hara Kilab within Block 5 in the Sultanate of Oman with assay results are expected within the next 10 days. The holes targeted the massive and disseminated copper sulphide zones within each orebody with resultant core obtained to be used for further metallurgical testing in support of the scoping study currently underway. The Company has also commenced infill and extensional drilling at Mahab 4, Hara Kilab and Mahab 2. Mahab 2 and Hara Kilab are modest sized VMS copper deposits located within Block 5 which have historical copper intersections requiring infill drilling before a Mineral Resource can be estimated. The planned infill programme is comprised of 21 diamond drill holes for 1,300 metres. In addition to the drilling, a drone supported detailed magnetics survey over Hara Kilab was completed late last year. Results indicate that a strong de-magnetised anomaly (magnetic low) exists immediately to the SE of Hara Kilab. This work was followed up with ground based induced polarisation (IP) which produced a strong chargeability anomaly coincident with the de-magnetised anomaly. Encouragingly, VMS deposits often show these coincident geophysical characteristics. Initial extensional drilling at Hara Kilab will target this anomaly.
