(Stock code: 2298) COMPLETION OF SUBSCRIPTION OF NEW SHARES UNDER THE GENERAL MANDATE

Reference is made to the announcement (the "Announcement") of the Company dated 5 May 2017 in relation to the issue and allotment of the Subscription Shares under the General Mandate to the Subscriber pursuant to the Subscription Agreement dated 5 May 2017. Capitalised terms used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as those defined in the Announcement unless the context requires otherwise.

The Board is pleased to announce that the conditions of the Subscription set out in the Subscription Agreement have been fulfilled (including the granting of approval for the listing of and permission to deal in the Subscription Shares by the Listing Committee of the Stock Exchange), and the Completion took place on 17 May 2017. As a result, an aggregate of 240,000,000 new Shares were issued and allotted under the General Mandate to the nominee of the Subscriber on 17 May 2017.

As at the date of this announcement and immediately after the Completion, there are 2,146,457,000 Shares in issue and the Subscription Shares issued represent approximately 11.18% of the issued share capital of the Company.
