TORONTO, April 25, 2024- Global News is delighted to announce that respected news anchor, producer, and reporter, Amandalina Letterio, will be joining its national weekend broadcast as an Anchor starting May 11.

Amandalina is a passionate storyteller who has covered national breaking news stories across Canada, including the Nicola River Flood in British Columbia, and the devastating Wildfires in the Northwest Territories.

"Throughout my career, I've had the chance to meet communities across the country," said Amandalina. "It has been an amazing journey covering breaking news and highlighting Canada's multiculturalism through heartwarming community stories."

Prior to joining Global News, she was the late-night anchor at CTV News London, morning anchor at CTV News Saskatchewan and worked at CFJC News in BC.
